The Hudson Baptist Association is located in upstate New York, sharing its eastern border with Vermont and Massachusetts. The area it covers stretches approximately 100 miles to the north and 100 miles south of Albany, the capital of the state which is two and a half hours north of New York City.

An estimated 50% of the 1.4 million people living in these 12 counties claim no church affiliation. Approximately 2% would identify themselves as evangelical Christians who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Strategy

Our Strategy is simple. We focus on two things: Church Planting – helping churches plant new churches that effectively minister to those who are not already connected with another church and Church Strengthening – helping churches further their ministry efforts in a way that impacts the Kingdom. We approach these two areas in a very church-centered way that emphasizes the local church.

Our Vision

We envision thriving Great Commission churches cooperating together to reach every person within the association and throughout the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Our Purpose

The Hudson Baptist Association exists to facilitate the strengthening and starting of churches so each may fulfill its unique, God-given vision.
